A Special Letter About Privacy To Parents

Dear Parents,

Santa would like you to know that he has a strict privacy policy for this site. We respect and protect the safety and privacy of visitors.

We would like you to understand that no personal information from this site is rented, sold or otherwise provided to anyone outside this site.

After your letter is received here at the North Pole, it is checked against Santa's gift list (wink) and then destroyed. We don't register kids and we don't request last names or street addresses to protect privacy. We ask for an email address to send the letter from Santa, but that email address cam be any address that you and your child have access to for your session, or where you want the email to be sent.

To receive a reply from Santa, only a first name, city, state and optional Christmas information is required.

No personal identifiable information is stored or kept, and no solicitations follow this email.

All Internet sites receive information about visitors. This is stored in server log files for statistical analysis. Like other sites, our server stores the following information: Visitors' IP address, Time Stamp, File Requested, Status Code, Transfer Volume, Referrer (page the visitor was on before visiting), and Browser the visitor was using (Netscape, Explorer, Safari or others).

Santa doesn't require a child to disclose more information than is reasonably necessary to participate in an activity as a condition of participation.

The U.S. Government's "Children's Online Privacy Protection Act" (COPPA) requires "That the parent can review the child's personal information, ask to have it deleted and refuse to allow any further collection or use of the child's information." However, since we store no personal information about your child, we are in compliance with COPPA:
